When Squadcast was founded back in 2018, we had a concise yet clear goal—we wanted to make it as easy as possible for companies to manage their IT incident and reliability needs. In the spirit of continuing that mission, today I’m excited to announce our $6M fundraise led by DNX Ventures and backed by Wipro Ventures, Nexus Ventures, and Chiratae Ventures. We’re also pleased to announce the addition of DNX and Q Motiwala to our Board of Directors.
In an always-on world, reliability is a primary business KPI. Poor IT incident management and response processes can lead to significant business consequences, so it’s incumbent on every team member to ensure a fast and reliable company incident response plan. It is the need of the hour to equip our engineering and operations teams, who are at the forefront of building and managing our systems, with the right DevOps and SRE tools to manage and optimize their core reliability metrics.
That said, we plan to use this capital to expand our product offering and grow the core team across all functions at Squadcast. This will include launching the ability to configure response automations, significantly increasing the interoperability of our platform, and adding revamped features such as status pages and on-call schedules.
With this exceptional new set of partners, and our shared belief that reliability software needs to be fundamentally centered around the developer experience, we’re thrilled to be doubling down on providing high-quality service to our 300+ customers (and counting!) across 50 countries.
Lastly, I’d like to express my gratitude for each and every one of Squadcast’s employees. Their passion, courage, and determination inspires me daily. Our team is always on the lookout for like-minded, passionate people and we’re currently hiring for several open roles. If you know someone who would be a great fit, let’s start a conversation. Our business is just getting started!
