Integration Steps

To integrate Prometheus with Squadcast,

Go to Services to add Prometheus as an alert source to that service and obtain the webhook URL.
Configure Prometheus by adding a new webhook receiver in the Alertmanager's configuration file, entering the obtained URL as the webhook receiver URL.
Complete the integration by clicking "Add Alert Source" and then "Done" in Squadcast.

Once the integration is up & running, you can

Automatically create incidents: Alerts created within Prometheus will automatically trigger an incident within Squadcast making sure that the team is notified promptly.
Add context to Incidents: leverage Prometheus alert details, labels and annotations to populate Squadcast incidents with critical information, aiding faster diagnosis and resolution.
