Integration Steps

To integrate Jenkins with Squadcast:

Navigate to Services in Squadcast -> Service Overview -> select or search for your Service.
Expand the accordion -> In the Alert Sources section, click Add.
Select Jenkins. Copy the displayed Webhook URL to configure it within Jenkins. Finish by clicking Add Alert Source -> Done.
In Jenkins, Add a Post-build task and run the given command in the Script text box.
Replace the API URL here with the API Webhook URL you see on Squadcast for the created service.
Finally replace username and password with your Jenkins username and password.

We have full control over on-call issues as every user has access to Squadcast. Read-only access is free for stakeholder users. Pretty flexible in how each individual can choose how to be notified. I’ve setup almost all my professional and personal contact info in the notification chain. Incident exclusion and alert forwarding is really helpful when you don’t want to be disturbed. Have used this a ton when I go on vacation. Easy to use mobile app. Always works, clean UI that makes it easy on the eyes in the middle of the night.
