- Go to Settings > Webhooks in Squadcast > Click Add Webhook.
- Enter the details like Webhook name, Description, Failure Notification Email, URL/API, Additional Headers > Click Next.
- Choose the webhook type: Manual or Automatic. Manual webhooks manually trigger webhooks under incidents, on demand. Whereas Automatic webhook automatically trigger webhooks when the configured conditions match.
- For automatic webhooks, Select v2 version > Select the following trigger events (conditions) for which the webhook will be triggered:
- Incident Triggered (This will create an Asana task whenever a new incident gets created in Squadcast.)
- Incident Updated (This will create an Asana task whenever an existing incident gets updated in Squadcast.)
- Incident Closed (This will create an Asana task whenever an existing incident gets closed in Squadcast.)
Click Save. Once you have completed these steps, Squadcast will automatically create tasks in Asana for new incidents, updated incidents, and closed incidents.
